Ad.Surf.Eng. Ltd. was established in 2001 by Professor Tom Bell and is a spin-out company of the Surface Engineering Group of the University of Birmingham.
We concentrate on all aspects of Surface Engineering and provide expert services on Plasma Surface Alloying, Ceramic Conversion Treatments, Surface Characterisation and Computer-Assisted Surface Engineering Design.
The success of our Company is marked by the high quality services provided to several industrial sectors including the auto sport and biomedical sectors and by joint developmental research with other institutes internationally such as the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Plasmaterm, Romania, and Clausthal University, Germany, and partnerships exist with many SME organisations and large companies throughout Europe (please see our client list).
